Jenai Sullivan Wall, chairman and CEO of Foodland Super Market Ltd., has been elected to the Alexander &#; Baldwin Inc. board of directors.
She succeeds Jeffrey Watanabe who reached the board’s mandatory retirement age of 72 after 12 years of service.
Wall has led Foodland, the largest Hawaii-based supermarket chain in the islands, since The chain has more than 30 stores under the names Foodland, Sack N Save and Foodland Farms.
She also serves ad CEO over other entities comprising the Sullivan Family of Companies, including Food Pantry, Ltd., Kalama Beach Corporation, and The Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf Hawaii.
In total the companies employ more than 4, people.
